Alana V. Allen is an award-winning nonprofit leader and the founder and Nonprofit and Grant Consultant of Alana Knows Nonprofits Consulting, LLC. For seven years, she has dedicated herself to the growth and development of nonprofit organizations. To date, Allen has secured $100,000 in grant funding and $100,000+ in fundraising dollars for youth development, women and girls, and education programs.

 

Allen is an absolute lover of nonprofits and the impact leaders make in their communities through the services they offer. With her southern North Carolina charm, she has the ability to make you feel as if she is your nonprofit best friend. For 15 years, she has managed a successful nonprofit organization, I Am A Queen, a youth development organization for girls ages 10-18 in the Greensboro-High Point, N.C. area. Also, she has 17 years of experience working as a public relations professional in the following sectors: government, nonprofits, corporate, higher education, and agency.
